PREP Work

INSPECTION & PLANNING

Check siding material: Wood, brick, stucco, vinyl, aluminum, etc.
Assess for damage: rot, mildew, peeling paint, cracks.

Check the 5 day forecast: Ideal weather is between 10–30°C (50–86°F), dry, and not too windy.

SURFACE PREP

Power wash to remove dirt, cobwebs, and loose paint.
Scrape off flaking paint.
Sand to smooth rough edges to blend with bare surfaces.
Repair/fill holes, caulk gaps around trim, replace rotted wood.
Prime for untreated wood, repaired areas, or rust-stained spots.

MASKING/TAPING

We use plastic sheeting and painter’s tape to cover windows, fixtures, garden plants if necessary, and occasionally driveways or sidewalks.
